Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The property, which is the latest addition to Hilton's growing portfolio in India, is an iconic structure that is centrally located in the heart of India's first World Heritage City near the Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway, offering expansive views of the city. DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad is a unit of Hirise Hospitality Pvt Ltd and managed by Hilton.

Towering over the central business district, DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad is  located to provide guests easy access to the city's major industrial hubs, business district, and shopping, dining and entertainment arenas for a holistic destination experience. The hotel is 35 minutes away from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad offers a variety of dining and entertainment choices and boasts the city's first outdoor rooftop swimming pool. The hotel presents two dining outlets, Wave, the all-day dining restaurant offering a delectable buffet spread of Indian, Southeast Asian and Western flavors, and Hop, the café-style lobby lounge that offers grab and go snacks and beverages. For guests who enjoy service round the clock, the hotel also offers 24-hour in-room dining and a 24-hour fitness center.

The 173 spacious rooms, including seven suites, offer city views with modern interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows and are equipped with signature DoubleTree by Hilton amenities such as DoubleTree Sweet Dreams® Sleep Experience bedding.

The hotel's prime location makes it a perfect venue for hosting conferences and events. The property features 15,000 square feet of events space and offers six conference rooms and a pillarless Grand Ballroom ideal for weddings, meetings and conferences. The Executive Lounge on the 10th floor offers panoramic views of the city skyline and exudes a perfect blend of sophistication and functionality.

Designed by Studio Symbiosis, DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad boasts stunning architecture and stands testimony to the grandeur of Ahmedabad's rich heritage and culture. Paying ode to River Sabarmati, the exterior of the hotel mirrors its magnificent waves, a symbol of continuity. The entry to the hotel is marked with a column-less cantilever that creates a dramatic entrance space and leads to a meandering staircase that adds to the old-world charm.
