"This is one of my dreams come true" indicates Andrea Obertello, about her new assignment as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Milano.
Graduated from Glion Institute of Higher Education, Andrea Obertello began her professional career in hospitality a decade ago with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Her path in the company has taken her across many different countries and continents – from front-office positions in Uruguay and Miami, to leading the rooms department of Four Seasons Hotel Firenze. She then joined Four Seasons Resort Marrakech as Resort Manager before moving to Four Seasons Hotel Doha as Hotel Manager in 2017.
"Milan is an incredible place and I could not be happier to become an active player in this bustling city. Leisure and business industries see it as the true pulse of Italy and the cradle of finance, innovation, design and fashion. Throughout the years, Milan's reputation and importance have grown exponentially and today it attracts new visitors and investments from all around the world. It is a fast-paced city with unexpected facets, including great museums, art galleries and historical must-sees. This is a very exciting time to be in Milan and I look forward to helping our guests discover more of it," pursues Obertello.
Native from Argentina, it is her Florentine experience that made her fall in love with the Italian hospitality and culture. She is coming back to Italy with a wealth of international experiences and leadership skills that will help her drive the Hotel's performance in its continued success, which began in 1993.
"Teamwork is an essential factor to success in our hospitality environment. Working with passion and trusting one another is the only way to make sure that even the smallest detail is going to be perfect," says Obertello. "Being close to the team and hearing their life stories is what makes me proud to be part of this family; together we can only succeed in every step we take. I look forward to continuing my journey with the team at Four Seasons Hotel Milano."
