Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners announced today its plan to open Graduate Tucson, part of the Graduate Hotels collection, in Tucson, Arizona. The 14-story, 164-room ground-up hotel development will be located on 2 nd Street, just off Park Avenue and University Boulevard. The hotel will be part of a mixed-use development that includes retail, residential apartments and a public plaza slated to open in fall 2020.
Prominently located just steps from the University of Arizona, Graduate Tucson will be in the heart of Main Gate Square and the campus restaurants, shops and office space making it the perfect offering for guests, alumni, local businesses and students alike. The hotel will also be in close proximity to downtown Tucson and the Banner University Medical Center.
Created for travelers who seek memory-making journeys, Graduate Hotels is a thoughtfully crafted collection of hotels that reside in the most dynamic university-anchored cities across the country. Each property celebrates and commemorates the optimistic energy of its community, while offering an extended retreat to places that often play host to the best days of our lives. There are currently 15 open and operating hotels across the U.S. and an additional 16 hotels under development slated to open by the end of 2020.

Construction is underway for Graduate Tucson. The expansive lobby will be designed for guests and locals to socialize, relax and enjoy offerings from the customized coffee and bar, Poindexter Coffee. The hotel will offer 4,840 square feet of meeting and event space and a rooftop pool and bar with sweeping mountain views.
