Los Angeles-based developer, Columbus Pacific, announces the acquisition of Hyatt Centric Park City, a lifestyle hotel that includes a variety of accommodations from traditional guest rooms with kitchenettes to residential-style suites. This ski-in, ski-out property is Columbus Pacific’s second venture in hospitality and expands the developer’s impressive footprint throughout Canyons Village and Park City.
Situated at the base of Park City mountain, Hyatt Centric Park City offers 120 deluxe guest rooms, inclusive of 85 stacked flat one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom condominium residences. The property delivers the ultimate vacation rental experience for couples, families and groups, through combining the comforts of a private vacation home with the amenities and services of a resort, in a convenient base camp location for alpine adventure. Accommodations range in size from 680-square-foot studios featuring kitchenettes to 2,820-square-foot four-bedroom residences with full kitchens. Resort amenities include a full-service bar, three-meal restaurant, grab-and-go café, 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, fitness center, outdoor pool with spa, ski valet, kids' game room area, valet parking service and direct lift and unparalleled access to Park City mountain.
Columbus Pacific’s growing portfolio in the destination includes the iconic Kimball Arts Center, Apex Residences at the top of Canyons Village, and Pendry Park City, a ski-in, ski-out resort and residential development to debut in 2021.
“We look at this acquisition as a part of our ongoing commitment to Canyons Village and confidence in the continued growth of the destination,” said Brian Shirken, president, Columbus Pacific. “We’re excited to add Hyatt Centric Park City to our portfolio of developments that will anchor Canyons Village’s overall master plan and propel the base village into its next generation.”
