Halstatt Real Estate Partners, a real estate private equity firm, today announced the opening of its newest project, Palihouse Miami Beach. The 71-room hotel located in Miami Beach’s Faena District, was repurposed in partnership with local development firms, Scott Robins Companies, RB Green Companies, and L.A.-based boutique hotel operator, Palisociety.

“It is a great pleasure to see our capital come to life throughout the process of reimagining the original Greenbrier hotel. The Paligroup design team incorporated a bold blend of classic and contemporary design and art while updating the 1940 Art Deco structure with state-of-the-art amenities, dining, bars, and beautiful oversized residential-style rooms,” said Katie Sproul, chief executive officer, Halstatt. “We are excited to welcome our first guests and become part of the vibrant Miami Beach community.”

Originally the Greenbrier Hotel, established in the 1940s, Palihouse Miami Beach is located on the Indian Creek Waterway in a newly restored Art Deco building two blocks from the ocean and some of the area’s best shopping, restaurants, arts and culture-focused destinations. The hotel features 71 spacious guest rooms and studios, with a mix of king and queen accommodations, most with kitchenettes, that have been redesigned and renovated into an eclectic mix of contemporary and vintage spaces and furnishings with an eastern seaboard meets boho-Mediterranean inspired design aesthetic.

Within the property is Greenbrier Swim & Social, a collection of all-day food and drink gathering spots including a creek-front patio, lobby lounge, liquor bar, and outdoor pool area. Hotel guests will also have access to the complimentary Palihouse Miami Beach “Beach Butler” service which includes round-trip transportation to the best local beaches via a custom convertible electric Moke and umbrellas, beach chair and towel set-up for the day.

“Palihouse Miami Beach is our debut property on the east coast and brings our vision for a unique, beach lodge concept to life with a personality unlike any other in the city,” said Avi Brosh, founder of Palisociety. “Working with the development team and Halstatt Real Estate Partners to reimagine this storied property was a great experience and we look forward to collectively welcoming visitors and locals alike to enjoy the hotel and all its charms.”

Halstatt Real Estate Partners identifies value add and opportunistic real estate projects throughout the Florida market. The company partners with qualified sponsors to develop and implement a strategic business and capital improvement plan to reposition and maximize the value of underutilized properties.
