Travelweb Reaches 1 Million Bookings Milestone For Hotels Service

Travelweb, the online travel service majority-owned by (Nasdaq: PCLN), announced today that it has completed more than 1 million merchant hotel bookings since opening its doors in 2002.

Travelweb was founded by a group that included five of the nation's largest hotel chains - Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental, Marriott and Starwood. Today, Travelweb offers specially negotiated, published-price rates for more than 13,000 hotel properties (including its founding partners) in the U.S., Europe, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
