Beswick comes to his new position from The Island Outpost Group, where he served as Hotel Manager of The Caves in Negril, Jamaica. As Hotel Manager, Beswick oversaw all departments of hotel operations including food and beverage, accounts payable, purchasing and distribution, and inventory.
“Coming from an exclusive, upscale resort he is ideal for The Sands which this year was placed on Condé Nast Travelers’s ‘Gold List for 2005,’” said Anderson.
Originally from Jamaica, Beswick is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant and Travel Administration. Beswick began his career in Food and Beverage in Hadley, Massachusetts and over the years has worked in various service and marketing positions in the US and the Caribbean.
