Avendra Promotes Chris Kim to Vice President, Sales Analysis, Support and Implementation

Avendra, a leading procurement services company with nearly $2 billion in purchasing volume, announced that it promoted Chris Kim to vice president, Sales Analysis, Support and Implementation. In this role, he will oversee both Avendra\'s new customer implementation process and support Avendra\'s prospective customer sales process.

Avendra “Over the past year, Chris’ position has expanded significantly as he assumed responsibility for two key growth areas for Avendra,” said Robert Waggoner, senior vice president, Sales and Services. “Chris spearheaded the establishment of a ‘Customer Implementation Team’ that greatly enhanced our ability to roll-out new properties and positively manage customer satisfaction. Additionally, this past September, Chris assumed responsibility for the analytical resources that support our new sales process. Under his leadership, Chris and his team perform field-based diagnostic analysis that has been very positively received by prospective customers.“

Mr. Kim began his career at Avendra in June 2002 as director, Sales Support, with his role mainly focusing on sales analysis and reporting. Prior to joining Avendra, Mr. Kim was director of Business Process Engineering for TalkingNets, a next generation provider of dial tone and hosted telephony applications, located in Wilmington, North Carolina. Before that he was managing director of Business Development for planetWE, a small business services procurement and management company, in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Kim also served as senior manager, Service Engineering for Bell Atlantic and as manager of Management Consulting for Ernst & Young LLP.

Mr. Kim graduated with honors from Tufts University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He later graduated from Yale University School of Management with a master’s degree in business administration.
