The Parking Spot Announces API & Direct Link Partnership With Tripware

Unique Interface Increases Convenience, Value and Speed for Tripware Users

Tripware The Parking Spot, the nation’s leading near-airport parking operator, today announced the company’s first ever development of an application programming interface (API) and direct link via a partnership with behavior-based travel tool Tripware. The API will create a seamless integration that recreates the reservation functionality of The Parking Spot’s website within Tripware’s premiere online booking tool, OutBook.

“We were adamant about finding an API partner who would accept an interface that mimics the very same features on which our guests rely when reserving their parking space on The Parking Spot’s website,” said Thom Zak, Vice President of Sales, The Parking Spot. “We’re excited for Tripware users to take advantage of now being able to book reservations directly within the OutBook technology.”

Tripware OutBook is a plug-in for Microsoft Outlook that allows a user to book a flight, hotel, rental car and now reserve a space at The Parking Spot, automatically embedding the itinerary in the traveler’s Microsoft Outlook calendar in about three minutes. The tool connects to a traveler’s online profile and stores flight, hotel, car, scheduling, notification, and membership preferences. Using the information already entered into Microsoft Outlook for scheduling a meeting, Tripware OutBook books the trip for the meeting, automatically enabling in-trip notifications and saves the itinerary as an appointment.
