More than a dozen Myrtle Beach area hotels are now offering consumers an opportunity to book lodging options via Facebook, according to Fuel Interactive, an Internet marketing company specializing in driving measureable results through various online channels. The GuestDesk Social booking engine for Facebook also offers the ability to see special promotions, book additional services, access photos, get directions via a mapping feature and gather the latest property information in real time.

The GuestDesk Facebook solution also utilizes the power of social media to assist in driving sales. It provides an “Ask Friends” feature that allows potential guests to find out from others about the property being researched. Consumers can ask friends and get immediate feedback by posting to their Facebook wall.
