The 17th Annual Lodging Conference Sells Out Of Exhibit Space Signaling a Rebound for the Hotel Industry.

With more than a month remaining before the September 20th start date, exhibit space at this year’s edition of The Lodging Conference is already sold out.

The Lodging Conference The Lodging Conference, a 3-day upscale industry Think Tank and networking event is held at the beautiful Arizona Biltmore Resort and caters to hotel owners, financiers, senior-level brand executives, and industry dealmakers.

Harry Javer, president of The Conference Bureau and co-founder and producer of the Phoenix-based Lodging Conference, said he was pleased but not surprised by the early exhibit sell out.

“We’ve been ahead of our attendance, exhibit and sponsorship goals all year for this conference, but the last six weeks have been through the roof,” said Javer. “Most importantly, this signals an optimism that we have not seen in the hotel industry since 2008. I’m sure we will sell out of attendee spots shortly as well.”

Not every real estate sector has come back since the downturn but experienced hoteliers coming to the conference say this is a great time to be investing in the hotel business. REITS are gobbling up properties and the lack of supply in the pipeline coupled with increasing demand means good times ahead for the hotel sector
