Temple Real Estate Investment Trust (TREIT) has acquired the hotel and mandated Atlific to bring its expertise to the management of the hotel.
“Atlific is proud to partner with the prestigious Hilton brand in the ever-expanding west Edmonton market,” said Philippe Gadbois, senior vice-president sales and marketing, Atlific Hotels. “We are thrilled to continue our long-standing relationship with TREIT, as manager of eleven of their properties across western Canada. TREIT continues to increase its network of hotels to provide quality accommodations to both business and leisure travellers.” Gadbois added.
Opened in 2004 and situated in the heart of west Edmonton’s business district, the Hilton Garden Inn West Edmonton has become the area’s leading hotel boasting 160 guest rooms, 4000 square feet of meeting space and on-site restaurant, The Great North American Grill. Additional features include an indoor pool, on-site fitness room, complimentary parking, Wi-Fi access and a fully equipped 24-hour business center.
Conveniently located thirty minutes from the Edmonton International Airport and just ten minutes from the city center, the hotel offers easy access to the best Edmonton has to offer. What’s more, the West Edmonton Mall, the country’s largest shopping and entertainment center is a mere three kilometers from the hotel.
Abundant in-room amenities including a purposefully designed workspace, patented Garden Sleep System bed®, HDTV, electric fireplace and lavish Jacuzzi tub ensure that guests get the most out of their stay and have a warm ambiance to retire to.
TREIT has committed a three million dollar investment in the facilities with a focus on revitalized guest rooms and improved public spaces. Part of that investment will feature “Heart of the Garden”, a re-imagined lobby that will impress visitors with its new-concept reception and public area. This exciting open space will provide intimate corners where guests will be able to work, unwind and socialize at their own pace.
