Fabtex, a leading hospitality soft goods fabricator and Ascentium Capital, a direct lender specializing in the hospitality industry, have teamed up to offer hotels the financing of bed coverings and window treatments.
“Financing a soft goods only upgrade is unheard of in the finance industry,” said Mark Kerrutt, Ascentium Capital Regional Manager. “Most lending is offered for complete renovations only, even though soft goods requirements represent a significant part of many branded hotels’ PIP mandates. We’re offering $5,000 – $50,000 in financing of Fabtex bedding and window treatment products.”
A national hotel chain recently promoted the financing package to its owners and it was very well received. “The program is now being introduced to other branded and independent hotels,” said Brenda Nielson, Fabtex National Sales Manager. “The timing is perfect. Even in a slow economy, properties need to make sure their guestrooms and lobbies look their best, and soft goods updates are a great way to freshen up a room.“
The Soft Goods Only financing package from Fabtex and Ascentium Capital allows a property to undertake a soft goods upgrade now and spread the costs out over time, helping to improve cash flow.
The financing applies to all Fabtex supplied decorative bedding and window treatments and can include tax, freight and installation costs. Terms from 24 to 60 months are available, depending on the asset requested.
Information about the financing package can be found on the Home page of the Fabtex web site at www.fabtex.com. A simple one-page application can be submitted online with approval in 2 to 6 business hours, so there’s no delay in ordering.
