Recognizing that it’s often the friendly gestures that are most appreciated by business travelers after a long day on the road, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.’s (NYSE: HOT) Four Points by Sheraton brand has brought back its popular ‘Friends of Four Points’ program. The global initiative, now in its second year, offers guests literal “tokens of appreciation,” at check-in designed to say, “Hey friends, this one’s on us.”
During the three-month promotion, now through September 15, all guests checking in at any of more than 175 Four Points hotels around the world on Mondays through Thursdays will receive a Friends of Four Points token at check-in. The token will be valid for one of four possible offerings at each property, ranging from a “buy one get one free” Best Brew? (part of Four Points’ Best Brews? craft beer program), to a free appetizer, a free dessert, or free specialty coffee. Guests can redeem their token during their current stay or save it for another day at any Four Points hotel worldwide through September 30, 2013.
Four Points is kicking off this year’s promotion with a Share the Moment Photo Contest on Facebook and Instagram. “Friends” of Four Points can check facebook.com/fourpoints for a weekly photo topic and can enter their photos on Facebook or post them to Instagram using #FPMoment to be entered in a weekly drawing for a chance to win a seven night stay at any Four Points location around the world.
