Cornerstone Hospitality announced today that the world’s first Hampton Inn and Suites recently completed a three million dollar renovation. The project includes the newly designed Perfect Mix Lobby, Precore fitness center as well as complete renovation of public areas, exterior, meeting space, guest rooms and suites. The modern redesigned lobby space will give hotel guests a more inviting and comfortable place to conduct business, visit with family and friends or enjoy the complimentary breakfast. The expansion of the lobby will allow business travelers more room and greater capabilities in the new business center. Guests will find the new pool area an inviting place to gather and will enjoy the new Bull Barbeque Island and outdoor-living-room pavilion.
All guest rooms and suites received a striking and fresh new décor featuring the newest brand standards for design and FF&E. Guest rooms feature all of the Hampton amenities in addition to refrigerators and microwaves. The suites feature residential amenities which include 42 inch flat-panel TV’s, kitchens with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, flat top electric range and microwave. The suites also have the benefit of a separate bath and vanity area.
“While this property has always been well cared for by its owners, we are thrilled to offer our guests something new and fresh” said Craig Larson Chief Operating Officer for Cornerstone Hospitality. “We basically took the property down to the studs, modified some spaces and gave it a new life. It’s been a top performer in the market since 1995 and we expect it to continue to be for many years to come.” The property was also granted a ten year license extension from Hilton Hotels.
