Kimpton Offers First Ever In-Room Yoga Program Combining Travel and Tranquility

Kimpton announces the first ever in-room yoga program offered by a hotel company. Guests traveling on the road can now say goodbye to stress and stretch their way to serenity with the new "Strike A Pose" program at Kimpton Hotels.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Yoga instruction is made easy and accessible to guests through the Yoga Channel offered on in-room television sets free of charge. A complimentary basket filled with essential yoga equipment, including a yoga mat, block and strap is available to guests during their stay. To obtain the basket, guests can request in-room delivery via the hotel operator.

"By offering in-room yoga, Kimpton recognizes the importance of helping guests to maintain various aspects of their lifestyle while on the road. Kimpton has partnered with Yoga Site Inc. for the "Strike a Pose" program. Yoga Site Inc. supplies the yoga mats, blocks and straps, plus the Yoga Now instructional CD available for purchase in the honor bar for guests who wish to take their yoga experience home. The yoga programming that plays continuously on Kimpton's Yoga Channel features The All Day Yoga Workout with yoga instructors Rodney Yee in "A.M. Yoga for Beginners," Suzanne Deason in "Stress Relief Yoga for Beginners" and Patricia Walden in "P.M. Yoga for Beginners." Kimpton is the only hotel collection with a Yoga Channel.
