More than 400 of Dubai's elite crowd were enthralled by a cavalcade of thoughtfully planned cultured events threading the arts, music and cuisine into a seamless blend designed to capture the quintessential stylish and intuitive spirit that is Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

On arrival, guests were greeted in Conrad Dubai's lobby with an authentic live Arabic art experience of Ayyalah dance, the famous celebratory, rhythmic, chanting dance drawn from Middle East history.  Conrad Dubai's urban oasis destination, Purobeach, a carnival of colour, light and sounds that included fire dancers, synchronised mermaid swimming and casual sophisticated DJ beats served as the central venue for Dubai's influential.

Drawing on his extensive culinary experience, Conrad Dubai's Michelin chef, Massimo Mantarro, produced an exclusive menu for the event, creating cuisine to reflect the contemporary lifestyle credentials of the hotel and the occasion.

Vanderslice, global head, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Worldwide, said: "The official opening event perfectly captured the essential characteristics of the Conrad brand offering guests personalised experiences with sophisticated, locally inspired surroundings and connections to people and places around the corner, and half way around the world."
