First Call Hospitality, Inc. (FCH) has announced that Durwood Gould has been named Senior Director Of Sales for the company. He will be the strategic business leader of the Sales & Marketing efforts for the Holiday Inn Atlanta Airport, Holiday Inn Atlanta Perimeter, Holiday Inn Columbus, Holiday Inn Austin and Sheraton Omaha. He joins fellow FCH Senior Director Of Sales Janet McCutcheon, who leads Sales & Marketing efforts at the company’s 7 other hotels.
Durwood will be responsible for driving property revenue goals through sales, revenue management, ecommerce and marketing & public relations; ultimately to achieve overall financial performance at each hotel. He will also lead FCH’s exclusive partnership with Star Performance and the company’s 2014 sales training initiatives.
Durwood is an expert in the sales, marketing, revenue and operational management of the hospitality industry offering over 30 years of experience. His acumen brings a successful track record in every market tier and across all the major franchise brands within the hospitality community.

He is IAF certified as a corporate training facilitator and Corporate Sales Manager to the oil and gas market for Accor Hotels. President of the Houston Area Holiday Inn Brand Marketing Association for 2004-06 for the Owners, Franchisees & the InterContinental Hotels Regional Leadership representing 23 Area Hotels focused on improving fair market share over the other brands in the Houston market and Alexandria Virginia Hospitality Partner of the Year 2010.
