Value Place Value Place has announced the grand opening of a newly constructed hotel in Hobbs, New Mexico. Value Place has partnered with Hobbs VP Investors, LLC in the development of the new hotel, which officially opened to the public on Friday, January 30, 2015.

The Value Place hotel will be located on 5100 North Lovington Highway near the Lea County Event Center, a popular site often used for conventions and other large professional meetings. This is Value Place’s third hotel in the state, joining hotels in Albuquerque and Las Cruces.

“We are excited about our new hotel in Hobbs,” said Andy Anderson, Executive Vice President of Business Development at Value Place. “Not only has the population in Hobbs and the surrounding area increased significantly in the past decade, the location is perfect for anyone who might be visiting Lea County and needs an affordable hotel.”

“We look forward to fulfilling a need in Hobbs by providing an affordable, quality, flexible-stay option for all the people who service this community and the surrounding areas,” said Santo Catanese Jr., Principal at Hobbs VP Investors, LLC.

The four-story, 124-room hotel will feature such guest amenities as laundry facilities, high-speed wireless internet, modified kitchens, and the cleanliness, safety, and security that a Value Place provides to every guest. The Hobbs hotel will further enhance the Value Place brand by serving customers who are interested in both short-term and long-term lodging options in the southeastern region of New Mexico.

“Value Place offers an extended-stay option for many types of consumers and appeals to a unique and diverse segment,” said Bruce Haase, CEO of Value Place. “We believe our target market is forced to settle for sub-par options, and by continuing our expansion across the United States through locations like the one in Hobbs, we are working to better serve consumers.”

With nearly 200 properties open and under development in 35 states, Value Place has emerged as a leader in the extended-stay segment. The brand continues to garner national recognition, and was named by Forbes magazine as the top hotel franchise in 2014 in the U.S., one of 2014’s Top 500 Franchises by Entrepreneur Magazine, as well as one of Franchise Business Review’s Top 50 Franchises for four consecutive years.
