Best Western Best Western International has announced the latest stage of its rapid Malaysian expansion, with the launch of a new hotel in Petaling Jaya.

Strategically located in the heart of this up-and-coming city's new business district, Section 13, Best Western Petaling Jaya will provide a wealth of facilities for both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel's 344 rooms and suites are the epitome of comfort and connectivity, with 32-inch LCD flat-screen TVs, work desks with electrical outlets, mini-bars and free high-speed Wi-Fi. For Club Floor guests, the hotel's Club Lounge provides daily breakfast and evening cocktails.

Guests can sample exquisite local and international cuisine at the signature Kembali Kitchen restaurant, or unwind with a cocktail or glass of wine at the SkyZ Dine & Bar, located on the rooftop level.

The corporate market will also be well catered-for, with four function rooms and a business center.

And after a hard day's work, guests can relax in the stunning rooftop swimming pool or work up a sweat at the hotel's well-equipped fitness center.

"Malaysia is an incredibly exciting market for Best Western International, and I am delighted to continue our rapid expansion with the launch of our first hotel in Petaling Jaya," said Ron Pohl, Best Western International's Senior Vice President of Brand Management & Development.

"With four hotels having already launched in Malaysia under our classic Best Western and luxury Best Western PREMIER brands, we are seeing strong demand for our products in this country. I am confident that Best Western Petaling Jaya will be just as well-received," Mr. Pohl added.

Best Western Petaling Jaya becomes Best Western International's fifth hotel in Malaysia, joining existing properties in Shah Alam, Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan.

And the company's nationwide expansion will continue in the future, with at least five more Best Westerns expected to open across Malaysia by 2017.
