Today, Corporate Travel Planners (CTP) of San Antonio has unveiled a new solution for their enterprise customers to source, book and track their groups and meetings bookings. Historically all of this business has been done off-line, bypassing the enterprises’ travel department, creating havoc for travel managers and procurement and expense professionals. The new technology will ensure procurement policies are followed and streamline the entire process.
In response to the growing demand to improve the group and meeting processes, CTP has partnered with Groupize to bring the Groupize SGM, Small Group and Meeting Booking Engine, to their partners that are undergoing changes in procurement policies, either based on State Law or internal guidelines. The cloud-based platform and mobile booking engine will be offered as a custom-branded web application. The solution enables procurement teams and departmental staff to initiate group and meeting bookings to be sourced, negotiated and booked by CTP. Offering one solution for all users will in turn providing full visibility, compliance and data for the organization. CTP will manage these requests using the Groupize 3PS, a Groupize third-party sourcing tool.
The solution provides access to real-time pricing and negotiated rates of over 110,000. It is the only group booking solution to allow planners the option to book in real-time or submit an RFP to the hotel.
