Karisma Hotels & Resorts and Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a division of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ:VIAB and VIA), announced the soft opening of Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana. Setting a new standard for Nickelodeon by delivering Karisma’s Gourmet Inclusive Experience, the five-star property welcomed its first guests over the weekend for an exclusive preview event in the Dominican Republic.
Guests enjoyed the upscale resort – Nickelodeon’s first-ever international property, built by Karisma Hotels & Resorts. Families, couples and groups visited from around the world to take part in the opening festivities, which included an array of activities and whimsical surprise touches at every turn. Guests basked in the sun and enjoyed the ocean, pools, and golden sands of Uvero Alto beach, as well as the luxurious property’s numerous venues for recreation, relaxation, and word-class dining. The property has re-imagined the art of hospitality to deliver delightful twists including surprise slimings and unexpected visits from your favorite Nickelodeon characters.

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana commemorated the soft opening this past weekend with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by key executives of Viacom International Media Networks and Karisma Hotels & Resorts, as well as government officials and leaders from the Dominican Republic.
