Interstate Hotels & Resorts announced that it has been selected to manage the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel recently acquired by Crown Jewel of Pacifica, LLC, which will further invest in capital upgrades to the hotel in the near future. The Sheraton Cerritos will be managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts' Rim Hospitality Division based in Newport Beach, Calif.
"It's gratifying to earn business from a relationship with a new owner, and we'll continue to provide outstanding operations and results. Having managed the hotel previously, we are well versed in all aspects of its operations and the market," said Russ Cox, executive vice president, operations of Interstate's Rim Hospitality Division.
The market-leading 203-room Sheraton Cerritos Hotel, the only full-service hotel in the City of Cerritos, is centrally located directly between Orange County and Los Angeles. Adjacent to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, the hotel is part of a 100-acre, mixed-use business park with abundant shopping, dining and entertainment venues. A short distance from other Southern California leading attractions, including Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, the Sheraton Cerritos features 15,241-square-feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, Paired – the lobby lounge and bar dining experience influenced by global cuisine – and Grille 91 Restaurant & Bar.
"Interstate Hotels & Resorts continuously provides excellent management expertise, solidifying our decision to work with the company to manage the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel," said Andy Chang, Chairman and CEO, Crown Jewel of Pacifica, LLC. "We're looking forward to a successful future with Interstate and its top quality team."
