BLVD Hospitality, one of Los Angeles most lauded real estate and hospitality development firms, announced today the establishment of a new development office in Chicago, Illinois. BLVD, under founder Jon Blanchard and co-founder Nico Rusconi, is responsible for bringing to Los Angeles brands including Ace Hotel, Soho House, CitizenM, and Hoxton, but has thus far focused primarily on California markets. The Chicago office, to be headed by BLVDs Director of Development Darrell Slomiany, will mark BLVDs first national office expansion, and bring with it an extension of BLVDs development services to the Midwest and East Coast markets.
Services: BLVD Hospitality targets and assembles hospitality developments in a GP and Master Developer capacity and also provides full-service project, construction, and asset management services. Traditionally focusing on the boutique and lifestyle segment of the industry, BLVD will look to continue that commitment by targeting one-of-a-kind development opportunities in markets throughout the country. Additionally, the Chicago office will extend BLVDs full suite of development management services to select boutique and lifestyle hospitality projects nationally.
For BLVD Hospitality , the opening of the Chicago office is an extension of the groups commitment to authentic, community driven hospitality projects. The team lead the redevelopment of Downtown Los Angeles iconic United Artists Building into an Ace Hotel and opened their first restaurant concept in Los Angeles, Chicas Tacos, in 2016. BLVD currently has 3 additional lifestyle hotels slated to open in 2018-2019. BLVD founder Jon Blanchard says, weve had the opportunity to work with some of the best hospitality brands and partners in the world, and were extremely excited to continue deepening those relationships and begin fostering new ones throughout the country.
