AMResorts, an Apple Leisure Group (ALG) related brand, today announced a new resort management deal bringing the Dreams Resorts & Spas brand to the island nation of Curacao. The property, owned by Lionstone Development and formerly known as Hilton Curacao, will undergo a $15-million-renovation before re-opening in December 2019 as Dreams Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino.
The 65-key, beachfront hotel is slated to become part of the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand in November 2019 following a two-month annual closure.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE:H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a franchise agreement with Coco Hotel 1 LLC for a new hotel, expected to open July 2019 as a Hyatt affiliated hotel and then become Hyatt Regency Coco Beach Resort after an extensive renovation is completed this fall.
Guests will have access to a spacious 24-hour fitness center; an outdoor pool; the brands signature AC Kitchen which provides a daily European-inspired breakfast buffet infused with a taste of Jamaica; and the AC Lounge, which offers a chic, open and comfortable ambiance, ideal for co-working and socializing.
