Dalata Hotel Group plc, the largest hotel operator in Ireland announced it has agreed contracts with Art-Invest Real Estate to acquire a new operating leasehold interest in Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf.
Hard Rock Hotels today announced plans for the opening of its newest REVERB by Hard Rock in Hamburg, Germany. Slated to open in mid-2022, the RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group will operate the hotel with a total of 134 rooms.
Slated to open in 2024, the 300-room hotel will be located on the edge of Düsseldorf’s city center and forms part of the wider business development of Tadao Ando Campus & Tower.
The property will undergo a major refurbishment before welcoming guests in Summer 2022. The hotel is owned by Invesco Real Estate, the global real estate investment manager which acquired the property in 2017.
The new build hotel will extend over six storeys and will include 176 rooms, a spacious lobby, a restaurant, a bar and various conference facilities.
The Europäischer Hof in Baden-Baden, Steigenberger’s founding hotel, is now set to rejoin the Deutsche Hospitality Family as a Steigenberger Icon.
The hotel is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2023 and will offer 194 rooms, a restaurant and a bar, all designed by the Italian architect and designer Matteo Thun. It will also house an events facility extending over an area of 233 square metres and four conference rooms.
The Nobu Hotel and Restaurant will be located within the Elbtower, a project by SIGNA Real Estate, one of Europe's leading property companies. The Elbtower will be a mixed-use development destination encompassing premium office space and the Nobu Hotel and Restaurant set within the tallest high-rise in the city.
With 102 studios and suites, the hotel was previously operated under the Hyatt House brand and is located in the heart of the historic Andreas Quarter, just a few minutes walking distance from the famous shopping boulevard, Königsallee, and the Rhine river.
Olga Zielinski will take charge of the hotel with effect from 18 September 2020, when she takes over as General Manager from Sascha Nemeth. Ms. Zielinski has been working for RIMC for several years and has recently completed a highly successful stint as Director of the hotel the YARD in Berlin.
