Fourth quarter 2014 net income totaled $197 million, a 30 percent increase over 2013 net income. Fourth quarter 2014 diluted earnings per share (EPS) totaled $0.68, a 39 percent increase from 2013 diluted EPS. On October 28, 2014, the company forecasted fourth quarter diluted EPS of $0.62 to $0.66.

Room revenue per available room for the quarter ended December 31, 2014 increased 7.7 percent to $181.49, as a result of a 5.7 percent increase in average daily rate (ADR) to $235.04 and a 1.8 percent improvement in occupancy to 77.2 percent.
Fourth Quarter 2014 total revenue increased $21.5 million, or 10.2%, to $232.4 million.
Net income applicable to common shareholders was $52.9 million, or $0.26 per diluted common share, for the full-year ended December 31, 2014 compared to net income applicable to common shareholders of $32.8 million, or $0.16 per diluted common share in 2013.
EPS, adjusted for special items for the fourth quarter increased 55 percent from the prior year to $0.17 and increased 30 percent to $0.69 for the full year; without adjustments, EPS was $0.16 for the fourth quarter and $0.68 for the full year and net income attributable to Hilton stockholders was $158 million for the fourth quarter and $673 million for the full year
Same-Property RevPAR for the year increased 9.2 percent over the same period of 2013 to $199.98. Same-Property ADR grew 7.4 percent from the comparable period of 2013 to $235.33. Same-Property Occupancy increased 1.6 percent to a robust 85.0 percent.
Adjusted EBITDA was $146 million in the fourth quarter of 2014 compared to $178 million in the fourth quarter of 2013, a decrease of 18.0%.
