LTD Management Company, L.L.C. and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced plans to develop the first ELEMENT as well as the first combined ALOFT and ELEMENT hotel project in Hanover, Maryland, slated to open in the Spring of 2008.
Conveniently located five miles south of the Baltimore Washington International Airport, the new ALOFT and ELEMENT hotels will offer travelers easy access to local businesses and attractions such as the Arundel Mills Mall and the Baltimore Zoo. Groundbreaking at the $6 million dollar, 4.67-acre tract of land in Hanover, is scheduled for Spring 2007. Both hotels will be built on the same location at 7522 Teague Road in Hanover, Maryland.

The new ALOFT Arundel Mills will feature 142 rooms, complete with loft-like ceilings, over-sized windows, walk-in showers and natural materials such as teak. Ecologically-minded products and services will be available throughout the hotel, including eco-friendly detergents for laundry services and hotel design elements made from recycled materials. ALOFT's signature amenities include the splash pool, the relax communal lobby area and bar and the backyard, a grassy space that encourages guest interaction. In addition, all rooms feature cutting-edge technology and large flat panel televisions.

The new ELEMENT Arundel Mills will feature 145 rooms with oversized desks, full kitchens, spacious spa showers and ambient lighting.
