HFTP;

This Summer, HFTP distributed a survey to women working in the hospitality industry who oversee financial and accounting as part of their roles. The survey received 140 responses from women working in clubs, hotels, hotel management companies, consulting and accounting firms—a majority of whom occupy C-level and managerial positions. From their responses, HFTP constructed a comprehensive, data-driven profile of the women leading hospitality finance in 2023. The final publication was recently unveiled at the HFTP 2023 Annual Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The goal of this publication is to help women in hospitality finance gain valuable new insights to help them optimize their own career trajectories by learning from the industry's top female executives. Where should they start? What positions can they aspire to? Which companies have demonstrated employment of women in high-level, decision-making positions? The final report provides an illustrative snapshot of respondents including professional level, industry segment, years in the industry and more. Explore a list of the companies where they work, the current trends/tools they say impact how they operate in the workplace, and their interests outside of hospitality. Read their comments on leadership, career training and how to get ahead. Also, enjoy an in-depth profile of Stephanie Anderson, CHAE, CPA, CGMA, the newly inducted HFTP Global President (2023-2024).
